Mez's book  More Than Human is out.  I wanted to draft a review here that I could edit and revise and stuff and post on Amazon or something before I left for Whistler, but that clearly isn't happening.

A few weeks back, I found that a friend of mine had given up alcohol for Lent. This surprised me because although I knew the she was religious, I didn't think she was that religious. I slept through a meeting with my advisor today.
