The race ended up not being as bad as I thought it would be, I ended up getting third place!  My time was 1 hour 49 minutes, which is about a 7:10 pace average (I'm quite pleased).  The trails were a lot of fun and there were some very challenging sections due to either very soft sand, steep ravines, roots, narrow singletrack, or long sandy uphills
