So I'm jumping onto this whole "blogging" deal kinda late, dudes. No worries. Bet it's a big deal to all of you, anyway, having a top-notch actor like me in here, right ( Read more... )

Mr. Engarde, I hope it's not too forward of me to say that I loved your work in the Nickel Samurai! Though I confess, I have only seen the dubbed version that was aired in Cohdopia.

I thought the addition of motorcycles to the franchise was exciting. Especially the flying bike!

By the way, I know the young man who bought your motorcycle. Don't worry, he's very nice and talented, and I'm sure he'll give your vehicle a good home.

Yours,
Colias Palaeno
Ambassador of Cohdopia

Thanks, dude! Always awesome talking to fans. Didn't even realize that the Nickel Samurai was such a global thing, then again, I shouldn't be surprised. Either way, I'd totally recommend watching the original - my one-liners are ace and I bet a lot of that gets lost in translation. Like, episode thirty-five, with Tin, Aluminum, and me duking it out for Sayo and I'm pulling off Bruce Lee moves here, all, "Justice is a dish best served HOT!" -

...Intense stuff.

Anyway.

Thanks for not jumping on the bandwagon of haters about the bikes, dude. I'm all for Steel, but Nickel is where it's at - not to mention that Global Studios needed to dish out some cooler effects for the sequel, and bikes just happened to be the answer. Sure, they're flashy, but c'mon, what do they expect? Rickshaws?

That so, dude? I guess that's reassuring...knowing it's not some nobody that got it. 'Cause, damn, I know I sound like a broken record here, but I mean it when I say it was such a chick magnet.

Ever since the Steel Samurai first aired, it and its successors have been among the all-time top ranked programs on Cohdopian television!

I'll do as you suggest and try watching the original version. Thank you for the suggestion, Mr. Engarde. I do remember that scene, but the Cohdopian line was more like "Justice is the friend of the weak." (Sadly, the pun in the line doesn't translate into English.)

Mr. Gavin is wonderful! I listened to his music on the internet, and I'm sure he'll go far. He's a talented prosecutor too. I don't doubt that someday, he'll be almost as good as Mr. Edgeworth.

By the way, I'm currently running a program to send a care package to the prisoners at your facility. Is there anything you would be interested in receiving? Unfortunately, I cannot send you alcohol. The prison officials were quite firm about not accepting anything flammable. You may check my blog to see what kinds of things we're sending.

See, what'd I tell you, dude! Quality television. Not like that Jammin' Ninja teen drama stuff.

This guy sounds all right, I guess. I haven't heard his music, though. Maybe I'll give it a listen if they don't block it here.

Whoa, that's pretty nice of you, dude. And I'm not the type to turn down that kind of generosity. I'll definitely check it out, thanks!

I wasn't at the auction either. My name's Ken.
Sorry you lost your bike - I don't know very much about motorcycles, but it sounds like it meant a lot to you.

Three is pretty young to start your career, but lots of performers do that, I guess. My younger brother used to watch the show you mentioned sometimes - I know it has a lot of fans. You made people happy with your work. That's a good thing.

Hey, Ken, dude.
It was a nice bike, but with the kind of dough I was making, it probably isn't too much of a loss. Didn't ride her for very long, either, so I never got much of a feel for her. Not like my Ducati.

You got experience with that? Starting young seems like the way to go, but it's a drag, man. Sitting through make-up and photoshoots and stuff - bad enough putting up with it as an adult.

Thanks, dude! Not gonna lie - it sucks here, but hearing from fans always cheers me up.

So, you an athlete or something?

I was an aerialist/acrobat with the circus. My brother and I started training for our act pretty early on, but we loved it.

Acting must be different though, it seems like a high-pressure world, especially for a kid.

I'm glad hearing from your fans makes you feel better - it's always nice to be thought of.

Circus...not even sure if there's much of a comparison there at all. Sounds intense. Not that I can't relate to that though, because I did totally do all my own stunts.

Yeah, being famous has its perks and its downfalls. No privacy happens to be part of the latter.

Ooh, you were from the Samurai shows! My younger sister had this friend (total fangirl) with a bunch of magazine pictures of you, like, all over her room. You and this other guy. I think he was, like, from that other show--Ninja something. No wonder you looked so familiar. But bikes make almost everything better! Nice to see someone finally agrees about that.

That prosecutor guy's like, really nice though, so I think your girl's in good hands. He knows the value of such a beautiful thing. Trust me man, it's better than watching it crash into a concrete wall and burst into flames. With you on it. Or watching some smelly middle-aged fart buy it, UGH.

Haha, you've never watched the Nickel Samurai? Bummer. Should've taken after your friend's great taste, dude -

But pretty awesome seeing a girl digging bikes. I've only met ones that like 'em as a chance to ride with me (not that I blame them). You like European or Japanese models? Hell, I had a couple of Harleys I played with too.

If you guys say so, I'll take your word for it. No hard feelings, really, dude. He can do what he wants with it. It's his, after all.

Whoa, you talking from personal experience there? That...sucks. Big time.

Glittery fop, sure. Twink? Not so much.

Nice to know where he got the bike from though. I was wondering.

My mistake, dude.

He just...kinda looked like the type. Not that I'd know.

It's a nice bike, huh?

Mm. Scientifically speaking it was... really fast.

Sword fights on motorcycles? I may have missed the last few years' worth of pop culture, but that idea sounds more ridiculous than most.

I can empathize somewhat. They auctioned off my coffee. It took me some time to perfect those blends. I'll never see their like again.

I guess it's over-the-top when you put it like that, but the choreography is pretty amazing, dude. You should give it a watch when you can. It won't disappoint.

Sorry, dude. I'm not much of a coffee-drinker, but I do mix plenty of my own drinks, and I make a point of not wasting them on others - they can't appreciate the work that goes into making them.

I doubt I'll ever watch it. It doesn't sound like something I'd like.

I've been known to make alcoholic coffee drinks myself from time to time, but I used to share my coffee with those I cared about. A pleasure shared is a pleasure doubled, not halved.

Suit yourself, man. But I say you're missing out.

Call it a hunch, but I get to thinking you and me are gonna disagree on a lot of things, dude. It'll make for interesting conversation in the future, I bet.
