1. What did you do in 2008 that you'd never done before?
drove to new york city, got an upside down cross tattoo.
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
did not make, did not break. i won't be making more... they're pointless. anything made is made to be broken.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
she's not so close to me anymore, but yes.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
no. it's a subject i'd like to avoid.
5. What countries did you visit?
canada a hundred times.
6. What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008?
true happiness, will power, comfort.
7. What date from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
september 3, lung cancer.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
standing up for myself to a certain extent, making really good friends.

academics, of course.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
broken nose, yet again.

a new pillow.

mom and dad.

my old car, my brain, everyone in my family aside from my parents, brother, and grandparents.

bills, clothes i don't need (always), CAR problems.

a lot of road trips, especially california.

a new(er) car, decent grades in two of my most feared classes.

i turned 23 while making the five hour drive home from working a kid rock show in boyne mt. one of the worst days of my life.
32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
letting someone in.

fancy hobo.

sleep, good hugs, days off, nick diener inside jokes.

edward, judah, ron weasley.
36. What political issue stirred you the most?
the entire election made history... and, naturally racism was a huge issue. both abortion and gay marriage were big issues and the opinions of the majority of americans were obviously disgusting and appalling.

Who was the worst?
i won't name names, but i met some awful humans this year.

"perception is everything" is really starting to sink in.
