Taken down. It was a bad idea.

I'm not really sure what you're going for here. From the "I am a sad Muggle," I assumed it was going to be funny, but the tone of the rest of it seems a little condescending. Also, it doesn't tell me anything about what the Hermothon is, which I would want to know if I was a stranger considering participating.

Yeah, that was what I was wondering.

See, the idea was this: it would go on the website, which has the rest of the information. But if it is just going to be read as snotty, it does not belong there. Which is why I posted it to LJ first.

Ah, that makes sense. I think it's a good start and just needs some editing, personally.

Random question - I know astrology is not your speciality per se, but do you think it's possible to get sucked into someone else's Saturn's Return? Like, for example, if you're younger than 28 but getting married to someone who is 28, or are the reason a 28 year old lost their job and had to completely reevaluate their career, or in some other way play a crucial role in someone else's Saturn's Return, do you think it's possible to start facing your own crazy life-changing shit a little early, like when Q introduced the Federation to the Borg?

I'm still of the opinion that most things magickal that happen to you only happen because you will or expect them to.

Yes, I believe that it is possible to see someone going through a Saturn return, and to take advantage of their life-changing current to get your own baggage out of the way early (or late). I also think it is possible, if you are deeply emotionally or in a mundane sense, connected to other people, to have a sort of "me next," expectation. And it would be the expectation, I imagine, that would cause it.

No, it is supposed to highlight the sadness of an existence which is entirely predictable.

People see glamor bombs as a fun thing to do on a Sunday afternoon. I see them as a crucial part of making the world a better place. Of course, communicating the need, rather than the "I am fun" aspect of it, I think, is not going to fly.
