And... word. Community is important. I'm really psyched at all the hospitality we've been shown.
As for taking a break... Judaism is funny in that way. It forces you to take a break. What can you do on Shabbos, exactly, besides read, drink and eat? ...have sex, I guess, but that's really it. You can't answer the phone or check your email, and so there's no way for drama to get in. There's no writing, so you can't do homework. No cleaning, or packing or unpacking.
Three days of that was totally surreal after last week. And equally surreal was when it ended, as Shabbos usually does, with the phone suddenly ringing off the hook, a backlog of email, and everything, generally, going from 0 to 60, as modern life resumed, almost as though it had never paused.
I am quite impressed with how much you've done recently. I hope you continue to kick ass at your new job, and your place looks awesome, a bit like a Hobbit hole. I will definitely pop over on Wednesday evening for yummy food and delicious company.
Thank you for trying to make me feel better tonight. We should make plans for a visit when things slow down, and you have some time off. There is always room at Chez Megan :).

Hell, it would be less work to do all the work myself.
Although a golem would be way funnier, especially if I made it to look exactly like me. I could psyche people out all the day long with it.
