It amazes me how the human species can find humor in the worst of situations. I am struck by how many people are smiling in the pictures I’ve looked at. I know a lot of it is exhaustion and, as I tell the kids, if you have a choice, it’s better to laugh

I loved the picture on the front page of the IndyStar yesterday - someone left it in the lunch room. Some guy standing in knee-deep water in front of his house (also in knee-deep water), with a big ol' fish tucked under his arm. Of course the caption explained it was a taxidermied Alaskan King Salmon (looking at least 2ft long). But the visual was great.
