Well, I've finally finished cutting ties at the Architectural Department, and I managed to bump into my old tutor, yesterday. He's been a good friend to me, in fact the whole department has, and I was grateful for the chance to chat. Anyhow, he was very complimentary and put a spring in my stride that should last well into the weekend. ^_

Well, good luck with everything. I sympathise a lot as I'm trying to change direction at the moment.

I've got a Kandinksy rug... it's a proper Turkish woven thing; really high quality.

I've not played Morrowind although the shots I've seen look nice. I'm too busy with Neocron to play another MMORPG, although I'd have liked to try Project Nomads. It'd be nice if you, James and I could play the same one for a while! :)

Morrowind is only a single player game but I do look forward to joining another MMORPG in the future. I had a go on Neocron but found it to be too much like Deus-Ex; just not my idea of cyberpunk. Not to say it didn't have some nice features, just that it didn't do enough to keep me hooked. Out of the up and coming titles, I have my eye on "Horizons", a game with the potential to be either amazing or completely shit.

Anyhow, we all look forward to seeing you in Manchester and I'd be stunned if things didn't work out well for you. Really, you have a lot going in your favour. :)

Yeah, Morrowind is good, although way too open ended. I've hardly been near the main plot thread, just wandering around killing the odd animal and stealing the odd magic weapon.
If you think it's choppy on your GeForce 4, you should see it on my PII 450MHz machine with a GeForce2 GTS... :) Suprisingly it runs quite well.

I think my GeForce 2 GTS is all that's holding my computer up at the moment... :) I am running it on minimum detail and with minimum AI distance...
