So Chris and I were talking tonight, and he was digging through some boxes at his parent's house in St. Louis frantically searching for the bible he was given when he was confirmed. Apparently he has been feeling compelled lately to pick it up and read it again

I'm reading this good book called Transforming Grace by Jerry Bridges. I wouldn't read it if it was up to my wandering eyes in a bookstore, but it brings back healthy reminders like how God's grace is completely outside of our works, both good and bad, so what we receive from Him is not based on our merits/demerits.

And yes, peeps loving Jesus is bomb.
