oh look, an update!

so much has happened since my last update back in April.

i completely didn't mention that we had to say good-bye to Max, our grey and white ancient dude kitty at the beginning of march. he was 17, almost 18, and had a good, long 11 years with us.

at the end of april, we adopted a 3-year-old floof named Rocky. him and Blackie really haven't ( Read more... )

well, they're ours now! hubby's friend was also fostering their mom, who i think is still kinda feral, so she's a "problem child."

i do know we'd never be able to actually foster a cat. when we called the shelter where we got Rocky from, the adoption area was closed because of the pandemic, but we could foster him in the meantime. we were upfront with them about wanting to adopt him, so that when the adoption area was back up and running, they called me and asked if i wanted to adopt him. i said "yes please, i'll be in ASAP" XD
