ive admired your work for a good while now. particularly gothic martha stewart! an old favourite.
ive been attempting too look up old gothic craft sites. sadly some have gone, some no longer updated. one in particular im looking for is cheapskates. im pretty sure it went dead only recently. im trying hard to get talking to the founder, Traceyb and my research has led me to you. i think you both made squares for a charity quilt. do you know how to contact her? or if not do you know whats happened to cheapskates?

Sorry, I wish I knew where Cheapskates & traceyb went! She seems to have disappeared :-( I wish she'd let someone host the old site before she went away, but it appears to be truly gone.

Hi Trystan... lokiz_mom July 5 2005, 19:45:10 UTC
i dont know if you remember me, but this is J9 from baycon and Vampire LARP. i was reading through con_costuming and someone was looking for a way to make angel wings...life size angel wings. i remember going to a panel many years ago about making wings that fold out and fold up, and i was hoping that you might be able to point me in the direction of instructions on how to make them so i could forward them to this person. here's the link to the post in the community i couldn't remember who had been involved in the panel or if you would even remember it, but i knew that the one person who would be able to help out with costuming like this it would be you ^_^

anyway...i hope you can help. thanks muches!

Hi Trystan. I'm relatively new to live journal, as well as relatively new to trying to make contacts on the web, so if I come across sounding rather silly, I apologize (don't quite know all the protocol yet). I stumbled across your sites recently and joined your mailing lists for Gothic MS and T&T. I thought I'd post to request if you'd consider adding me to your lists. I trying to meet some new people with similar interests on the net. I've just recently started costuming and would love to network with others to learn more. I guess you could call me a gerrigoth also, due to my age and love of all things dark and deliciously gloomy. I've been enjoying your sites thoroughly and would like to read more by you just because I love your writing style. To be honest, I can't say you would know me from anyway (wish I could). I've recently been chatting with mystress prynne, who is a lovely person, but I think that's the only connection I can claim. In case you decline my request, let me just thank you now for such great sites. I ( ... )

Not really a request to join your friendslist... just wanted to pass on a link, hopefully for inspiration for your black and teal 1890's outfit. Last year at the April Gaskells a large group did teal outfits, and I thought you might get some ideas and/or appreciate the work. (trying not to sound stalkerish, but I much enjoy your costume page)

Well here it is... The Teal Conspiracy, off terpsichoros's picture page. You may even know a few of the pictured... I unfortunately only make the halloween and christmas balls anymore.
