I just got myself a new laptop and dropped Ubuntu on it.  So far, so good, but I haven't tried anything hard like suspending, but...

After I copied over my ssh keys, I typed ssh ix: -- ix being my desktop box -- and it worked.

Wow!  I'm not sure if I'm impressed or grossed out, but it was cool!

Did you pay the Windows tax when you bought the laptop?

There is one reseller that will certify Linux, but it costs even more than ordering from Lenovo directly.
