Yeah, that's EXATLY what I wanted to do. However, my parents were not sympathetic and convinced that if I took said plan of action I would end up dead in the gutter at 24. I want your parents.

i went to 6 different countries in europe in two weeks on a dance team trip my sophmore year in highschool and it was THE BEST TIME OF MY LIFE... i would love to go back... just havent found the time yet...im green with envy over here... and i hate the color green:)<3

(this is david stubbs btw) i was gonna do that immediately after highschool, my dad was gonna pay for my plane tickets there and back and i'd have been on my own between those times. however, what with the whole dad dying thing, my life got a bit fucked and is just now beginning to get back on track. i definitely say go for it, because you've got your whole life to whore away at whatever career you end up doing ( or hell maybe you'll even end up doing something you enjoy!), but the opportunity to really live in this semi-indedpendent but financially supported state is an EXTREMELY small window
