Hi. Happened to end up in your journal and like it. I'm studying animation as well though not one of the best schools in the world :-) At least it's one of the few animation schools in Asia.

I'm going to add you :-)

brilliant, i've been wishing for an animation student lj-friend! ´

i thought there are many animation schools in asia? maybe only in japan, then? i'm studying in the one and only finnish school specializing in animation. what kind of stuff do they teach in your school? our school is traditionally orientated, we do hand-drawn & puppets & sand animation etc (not so much 3d) with a heavy emphasis on storytelling/dramaturgy.

Yeah, there are a lot of great animation schools in Japan and a few in Korea as well but not as much around South East Asia I guess so I can hardly say if it's a good school or not, in any case it's a new school and open to new ideas. My school's more about combining traditional art and technology together, so it's not in Fine Art department... We have a year of general studies (sort of like foundation year) then from year 2 and on, you have to specialise in one stream ( ... )
