oh wow, those textures and collage is very very very nice. this is so exciting and it makes me want to see your animation even more! are you still taking that in class?

animation is pretty much all i'm studying for the next four years! we've been animating flying birds & such lately, i like it a lot. i would love to use handmade images/collages as film backgrounds, characters etc instead of supercomputerized stuff.

yes i'll be an animation director in four or five years. animators basically make movies frame by frame, they make images (12 images per second) to create an illusion of movement. there are many techniques: you can draw or work straight under a camera moving puppets, clay, sand, objects, people... err does that make sense? i can tell you more in a letter, i just got yours. so nice that you liked my tape! if it gets screwed up i can make you another one. i actually made you two tapes, the first one got stuck in the tape player. must've been low quality tapes or something.

they are actually tiny golden stars. i would love to have similar paper with silver snowflakes!
by the way i feel stupid for being such a lousy pen friend this autumn. i've written something but i end up sounding so whiny & sad. maybe i will send you an envelope with no words, just pictures. maybe you would like that?
