Yeah! I was accepted to University of Massachusetts-Amherst's study abroad program for Uppsala, Sweden! :)
Now, I just have to wait for the head of the History Department here to write me a recommendation for the program since it is a non-NYU study program. I already wrote my proposal--it was 4 pages--and I hope Dean Kalb approves it.

Good luck, though. I hope you enjoy it.
The guy in the icon is Ivri Lider, the guy who gave the music for and sang the song at the end of Yossi and Jagger.

Mr. Lider is very handsome indeed. Awww. I remember that movie. It was good; not Life is Beautiful nor Brokeback Mountain but I did like it.
Best wishes,

I like Jake because he is half-Swedish too.

I think that German would be the better choice to learn after Swedish, since it is related to Swedish. (It's in the same language family, just like English is in the same family). Helena could even help you out if you asked her for advice. Just watch out for the prepositions, according to Helena. Italian is more romantic-style, and is closer to Spanish. ?Habla español? (Sorry, I don't claim any Spanish, and this is one of the few words or phrases I know of, and I can't spell anything in Spanish.)

I know no Spanish...oh well. I guess it never did anything for me. Italian however is very beautiful--at least to me.

I'm not totally sure about Italian, though I know it is in the same family as Spanish and French, and that several Italian words are similar to Spanish. It could even be possible for Italians and Spaniards to talk together in their native language just like Danes and Swedes do, but don't hold me on that. :)
