Heroes!!!
Last night's episode was sooo great. I can't remember the last time there was a show on TV that I would get to excited about, and actually yell at the characters on the screen.
And I totally knew that Linderman had a power too. Mike & I had been guessing about who he really was for weeks. Mike kept thinking he was one of the other characters, but I knew he had to be someone who knew what was going on, and had probably been around a while. Then, when he started talking about "collecting" things last night I knew had to be immortal, or just really really old. And then he shows Nathan his power, and I was right. I think...
Well no, that's not true, I do remember. It was when Prison Break first came out, and before that it was Stargate SG1. But seriously, if you're not watching Heroes, then you need to get with the program. NBC.com has most of the episodes for free, and they have cast commentaries if you'd like. Or check the TV Links website on my navigation bar, they should have them all available for download.
This weekend I watched "Notes on a Scandal" with Nate & Heather, and it was not only amazingly scandalous, it was completely captivating. I thought I would watch the first few minutes & get bored. But I never left my seat for the next 93 minutes. Not even to get a drink, or use the bathroom. I can't really saw too much without giving it away, but Judi Dench and the Kate Blanchett put on some amazing acting. If you've ever thought either one of them was a good actress, or just enjoy a good scandal like me, I recommend you Netflix it.
And super awesome news for today. I just mailed the last check for my car today. When I called in to get the payoff they said the payment wasn't actually due until July. I guess all those months of paying a little bit extra put me a couple months ahead of the game. But the checks in the mail, and in 2 or 3 weeks I will have my title in hand, and officially own my car. w00t!
