IF YOU ARE PINGED BY THE SUPERNATURAL/DEMONIC/blahblahblah, then uh. This post is for you and I probably should've done this a month ago even though I mentioned it briefly elsewhere.
So, uh. Nicolai has forged a soul pact with the demon Astaroth! Your typical "deal with the devil" and all. As mentioned in his permissions and stats meme, this makes Nicolai much more powerful than a normal human being (better magic, badass demon, and other things the series pulls out of its ass), but it also puts him at risk since he could lose, well, his soul to the demon. The latter will probably not be an issue (... unless I ever update), since Nicolai is incredibly stubborn and has to be physically worn down for his strong will to falter et all. It's totally cool.
WHAT THIS MEANS is that if you are pinged by demons or people doing stupid things with, say, their souls, Nicolai will probably ping like mad. o/
