It seems as though the state is on fire (and according to the news, it pretty much is)...I wake up this morning to smell smoke, find ash on my windshield and then drive through a smokey haze to work, only to hear that a fire started across the street from work...I don't like feeling as though I'm living through a movie about the apocolypse. i didn't notice the smoke until a couple hours after i woke up from my nightmare [it was still dark out]. but then i went outside and thought "well, maybe it's more Silent Hill out today than i was hoping for...."
