But it actually feels really good! I listen to Deadmau5 while I run, and the techno/trance just kind of lulls me into a stupor, lol...it's so impossible to really LISTEN to the song, and to even recall where one ended and another began, that it becomes really easy to just lose track of how long you've been running. Then suddenly, it's a half hour later. XD
Much better than running in place in my basement for half an hour, at any rate. XD

I can't use music like that, it has to be music that I really really like and can sing along too and basically energize me to get through exercises! I do hated it when the gyms I was a member of in the past played music that I loathe, it made me want to give up on working out xD If I take up running, I would need to make a playlist for it!
Funny thing, I haven't yet invested in proper shoes, but I did spend 35 euros on a proper running armband that can carry my iPod xD
