Sounds like you, too, are getting the current strain of flu passing around and are getting grouchy.

I'm older than you, Tseran. My built-in and time-tested crap detector goes off whenever I hear someone pontificating about how men or women "really" are. There are all kinds of people, and anyone who decides to pidgeon-hole people into neat categories is trying to justify a premise.

You understood this, Tseran, and you came across an example of it, but you spent too much time reading that lousy article. I would have tossed it at the first paragraph.

In fact, saving the human race through some "brilliant" philosophy is one of the oldest time-wasters on earth. I'd rather provide small bits of genuine help directly to a few people whom I think really deserve it. And that does make me feel good, even if there isn't much mutual help or returned thanks.
