2011 Cosplay Plans
Its practically 7am and Im STILL up....wtf OTL ..... anyways ultimaaa just finished making this for me so I figured Id post it. Even though I could just post it later today
I have been thinking lots about how I really want to branch out. Ive done more REBORN! cosplays than a lot of people have done cosplays in general .... OTL I always knew the number *cough16cough* but the other night Carina and I were watching Star Driver and I was going on about how I want to cosplay multiple characters and then made the comment 'oh but I cant do that, having so many from one series is obnoxious'

Ive had great times through the cosplays I've done so far, and I don't regret doing them. But sometimes I just really wish I had more variety. And this coming year I want to tackle and put a serious dent in my 'Cosplay To-Do' list.
LOOK MA! NO REBORN! OTL Although Im sure there *will* be as I have costumes I will always wear again for photoshoots. And as you can see I only have two girl cosplays .... I have a couple others I would LOVE to do...but I dont want to cosplay any girls until I lose weight and feel more comfortable with my body >.< So I didnt put them up.

GINGA BISHOUNEN from STAR DRIVER - DAZZLING THE STAGE! So Star Driver is a show built on fabulousness. I still giggle like a schoolgirl during the transformation sequence and when I saw this outfit I was like *___________________* So come SakuraCon its time to get scandalous!
Baron Humbart von Gikkigen from The Cat Returns - This is probably my most favorite Studio Ghibli film and one I would love to cosplay from. I LOVE the Baron, and he may be a cat... but I tote's have a crush on him XD So suave~ Im going to use this cosplay as an opportunity to make prostetics as well as dive into heavy makeup. Im pretty excited! My last visit with sumi we watched it together and she's agreed to be my Haru! <3 We are planning to do it hopefully for Fanime.
Takagi Akito from Bakuman - I have been an avid Bakuman fan since it first began; I waited for this series after Death Note finished and am so thrilled with the recent exposure its gotten through it's Anime and all my friends who are now getting into it. Getting to cosplay Shujin is something Ive always wanted to happen and this year I will for sure. Im going to make the cosplay for our SC skit.
Ling yao from FMA: Brotherhood - "out of all FMA characters you pick the Asian one? Nice Heather" LOL thats what a friend said to me when I told her I was gonna cosplay Ling. Brotherhood is INCREDIBLE and Im so glad we got to meet all these wonderful new characters. Honestly? I didnt think too much about this version of Ling until I watched the 'Ling Rolled' video off youtube (tried to embed it but wasnt working XD; )
Annnnd the rest is history XD; well not completely. hakukumo and I make a habit of cosplaying OTP and so when I said I had interest in cosplaying Ling she flailed and contributed as Lan Fan <3 We're hoping to do it for SakuraCon.
Rikuo Nura from Nurarihyon no Mago - This is a new series I recently took up and its not by any means spectacular but the characters are quite likeable and I really want to cosplay from it. Im getting ultimaaa to join me as my Skunk head demon counterpart because shes taller OTL
Crow from Bakuman - Wanted to cosplay something epic/wanted to cosplay something from Bakuman = the only character. I am so excited! CAW CAW~ for SakuraCon.
Len (vocaloid) from Setsugetsuka - I first became aware of this PV after Sonteen (Red_cluster on DA) talked about how she was doing Gakupo from it. I instantly fell in love with this design and would REALLY like to do it next year. Was thinking Fanime?
Natsume from Natsume Yuujinchou - this is a very beautiful and sweet series and one I really look forward to cosplaying from. Even if I cant do it with his elaborate Kimono (as I would love to get authentic kimono fabric) I can pull it off with a new wig, plain summer uniform and a Nyanko plushie XD Another one possibly for Fanime? But definitely a shoot at the Japanese gardens.

These are more cosplays I want to do and probably will get done...but they are simple and probably specifically for shoots.
Psyche!Shizuo (DRRR DVD cover art) - This design came out a week before Ycon and I raged XD; I would have threw it together if I could.... but I just said that I will do it next year. And I will XD I LOVE YOU SHIZUO <3 I WILL DO YOUR MCDONALDS OUTFIT TOO! T___T
Tohru/Akira from Shiki - I recently power marathoned through Shiki after ultimaaa had watched it and really liked it. I really love Tohru, he is definitely my fave character but I also have grown attached to Akira and have lots of ideas for photos 8D
Yukino Miyazawa from Kare Kano - this was one of the first 'obscure' animes I watched. There wasn't much anime available back in the day and unless I bought it from the overly priced comic book store I was SOL; I picked up the Kare kano box set and decided to give it a shot. Im so glad I did - its still one of my fave series to date: very heartwarming, sad, cute, hilarious and fun. Get our your generic black wig nishibie

These are all cosplays I've had planned for a ridiculous amount of time but always get pushed back for whatever reason.
Dilandau Albatou from Escaflowne - my *dream* cosplay. I've always said that if I cosplayed Dilandau and then had to retire from this hobby, as long as I did this cosplay I would feel satisfied. I have never pre-bought fabric before, never saw a fabric that would work for something and bought it even though it wasnt an immediate outfit I had to make; however, I recently found exactly what I was looking for to make this cosplay and bought a crap ton XD I really hope to get this done sooner than later, but Im also not going to rush it <3
Len (Vocaloid) from Synchronicity - One of my favorite Vocaloid PV's. We have a large group coming together too. No definite plans or time frame, but it will happen *__* and it will be glorious! Dont worry hakukumo Ill save you from the evil dragon lady (ultimaaa )
Azure Kite from .Hack//G.U - This was planned for LAST SakuraCon but things happened and so it never did XD; Its almost half complete though. So I just need to actually...y'know... finish it. However its definitly a cosplay I want to 'show off' not gonna lie....but I just cant think of a con Id do it at. We debated doing it for SakuraCon but then our schedules filled up, and I cant really bring it to any convention where I need to fly to as my weapons are massive. But I should at least complete it for a shoot.
Victoria Seras from Hellsing - kolibri 's dream cosplay is Integra from Hellsing and I enjoy the series and would like to cosplay from it as well. Just so happens that I quite liked the character of Victoria and wouldnt mind cosplaying her. This will happen eventually, but we just need to decide on when we want to do it.
I of course will come across more/others as I watch new series or my beloved characters get new outfits >( But these are all ones that im thinking about right now. Also not included are certain costumes I would only do for private photoshoots or re-wears of current cosplays. I had collected all these images and was like OMG THATS SO MANY WTF!? But then when I counted up what I did this year its about the same. And I wasnt overwhelmed by the amount of cosplays I did this year, even feeling like I could have done more. So bring it on 2011!~
