Hmm, I'd be interested - it looks to me like something similar to what I'd hoped Ogame would turn out to be, but wasn't. I suspect that I'll start off isolationist, given my general tendencies.

I haven't tried all the archetypes, but I'd consider going with Resilient, reducing your planetary settlement range by a small amount, and putting those points into growth. It's what I wish I'd done.

I haven't yet gotten around to getting off-planet yet, really. Soon, I hope.

Can you tell me a little bit more about the game? Do you fight other players? Can your civilization die out/be obliterated? Do you compete with other players for resources? What is the goal of the game?

The goal is generally "Create the largest empire" - there is no long-term goal. Combat can happen, but the game is only 2 weeks (or so) old, and not much like that has happened - nobody has the resources.

You're competing with other empires, in theory, for resources, but it's a really big universe. They're working on encouraging trading at the moment.

I don't think your civilization can be wiped out, but again, the game is new, so it's hard to tell.

My initial recommendation would be a resilient empire, with a few fewer points in habitable orbits, and those points put into growth. It will make the early game that much easier.
