I just finished a book by Tanya Huff - 'Valor's Trial'  It was published in 2008 and being 'that' type of reader (one who tends to read the intro and foreword and dedication) I noticed the author had dedicated this book to Mike Glicksohn.  Here's what she wrote

High on the list of reasons I miss Mikecon is that it was the only place I saw Tanya and/or Fiona, since I don't often get to conventions.

Reading that dedication made me happysad. I miss Mike so much, and every memory I have of him is a happy memory.

...Just remembered Mike telling me that he bought Tanya's first novel solely because she was a friend, and he was so relieved that he could honestly tell her that it was really good and he enjoyed it.
