I have the under the dome book on audio book. I listened to it going from Texas to Arizona and back. I play it when ever I drive anywhere. I'm up to the point where the kids find the shield generator.

It is super great!

I drove into Mexico yesterday.

The guy at the border gave me the business about it. And he gave me a little pamphlet that had in large red letter across the top "NONCOMPLIANT" It went on, "You are not in compliance with the secure document requirements that went into effect June 1, 2009 for entry into the United State."

He was just being a hippie. I might go back tomorrow. I know better now than to make gun jokes like I did in the story I sent you about last time I was in Mexico.

I liked Wally Lamb's SHE'S COME UNDONE and I KNOW THIS MUCH IS TRUE (thank you, Oprah Book Club). I tempted to read THE HOUR out of perverse curiosity. Looks like a lot of people on amazon.com had the same feelings about the book as you did.

Speaking about amazon.com, I'm always amused by people who leave 1-star reviews for classic books. Link: Shakespears's Hamlet: Utter Tripe. Nice to see people having fun writing bad reviews for good books on amazon.com.

Crap. There's way too many spelling and grammatical errors in the comment above made by me. Oh well.

I forgot to add a belated Happy New Year to you and your cat!
