 So im new to this community but have been reconstructing tshirts for awhile now.
I've only ever done tops and the odd skirt here and there (thanks to my good old generation-t book)

but today i thought id turn my hand to bags.
i took a old my chemical romance band shirt to make one bag and the other i used what was left of a old tripp nyc skirt. ( Read more... )

So, my best friend has let me borrow one of her crappy sewing machines. Tonight, I finally got it working long enough to modify a t-shirt. I'm excited so I have to show it off. It's far from the best thing in the world but it's just my first so I think it's pretty good.

Hello t-shirt surgeons!

I've made a few alterations (namely some skirts) and I'm pretty okay with t-shirt stuff. Instead, I'm wondering what your experience with sweatshirt surgery has been. I have a size L sweatshirt that I don't wear but can't bear to give up, as it's a (somewhat) rare find:
