Hi, I just got here doing a google search on ovarian cancer. I'm not sure what your CA125 is but it could very well be elevated because of a benign cyst that could go away on its own. Don't give up hope. It is also really good that you are seeing a gynecological oncologist. If you do need surgery, having a gyn-oncologist perform the surgery is an excellent idea. They have more training and are better surgeons. If it is ovca, your survival chances can double by having a gyn-oncologist perform the surgery.

Good luck to you!

Thanks!

yeah I'm looking at all the false positives to give me hope. Even if it is benign but needs surgery, the best to do it is the gyn-oncologist, I know.

I'm hopeful, really I am. Just a bit... shook, too. It's the ominence of the word oncology.
