I may be behind, but it was with dry suits, I trust??

I, being a relatively sane human being, chose to dive in a dry suit. Other people, however, did dive wet. It was only about 37F in the water, which is cold, but we were only in for about an hour.

YES_ it does look like a ONCE In a lifetime (or will therre be more) opportunity, and you may be a madwoman(glad to be home in heated house, but gld you do what you do!

The local dive shop does an ice dive once a winter, so I could come back and do it again next year. And I'm sure there are other places you could ice dive as well, though it's definitely something you want to do with people you trust and know! It really was totally awesome!
