Never saw the movie and dunno if anything could ever induce me to.
Part of the reason for this: we did the novel in English class, and of all the books I ever took in English, it was the only one I could not read, I despised it so much. That was the one time I took copious notes in class and studied from them for the test, instead of studying the book.
I figure if the novel was tougher slogging than any other book ever, chances of me enjoying anything about the film are virtually nil.
