Not really a X-Men AU. Just how would the life in the dorm be if the OT4 had superpowers/were mutants.

Love that you gave Mark a not!mind power, somehow having the awkward to arrogant genius have a power so physical and useless to his chosen field of interest is strangely endearing.

and ahahah I was kind a imagining him as like an evil!Aslan-type when he was a lion. and then the lion part reminded me of Andrew's hair... lolol

Whatever Eduardo's power is, he seems to be worried how his friends would react to it. That last scene with Mark, about being allowed to belong, seems to hold some significance for him. And that in itself is a bit worrisome. In a group as diverse as theirs, what could possibly be bad enough that he fears rejection?

This is already the kind of AU you hope for, I think - meaty and evocative, with strong resonances to the original scenario. I love watching the larger pattern emerge.
