This is excellent, aww *___* I really love how while the shooting was a catalyst for an expedited reconciliation, it wasn't the base reason because that was on a slow burn anyway, and that they didn't just fall into it either.

I love all the hurt and the angst and the pain and anger and I SO understand Eduardo and how hard it is for him - being torn between caring and knowing that caring only ever gets him hurt.
And Mark! You write such a wonderful, amazing, careless, vulnerable Mark you make it so easy to remember why Eduardo hated him in the first place and so easy to forgive him at the same time.

I cried all the way through this. You are fantastic, jfc... I love that it took so much to get them realize everything, how in character and stubborn they both are (because seriously, if there's two people who could go through this much and still have problems communicating, it would be our boys). And the ending was beyond perfect, really, I can't even express how much I loved everything about this.

Here are a handful of lines that absolutely broke my heart:
