Happy Birthday Megan!

Oct 16, 2003 11:16

Today is Megan's birthday. You should all shower her with gifts, affection, and polar bears.

Or, if you wish, email or call and tell her she's old now. She isn't, but it is important to be reminded of our own frail mortality.

I'm glad my office is in the corner, so I don't have to explain the horrible outbursts of laughter.

I'm still in shock from actually seeing posts in your journal. What brought on this delightful little change?

Wish Megan happy birthday for me would you? I haven't got her email address.

Just found this because I checked out the foh reel tsn community site, and I was all like, "stuff!" and then i was like yeah. And things. Totally. With that out of the way, sorry that I missed Mega-Death's birthday :( It is too bad, having just found your lj and wotnot, because now I must hang myself through the nose. *sigh* timing...always off.

Hey dude,
Sorry that I don't get around the 'ole blog much anymore. In response to your question, there are a few audio apps floating around the open source community that appear to be maturing quite well. In addition to Rosegarden, I've heard good things about Ardour (http://ardour.sourceforge.net) and Audacity. Ardour is the most ambitious of the projects, looking to be an open-source replacement for ProTools-level audio workstations. I used to check http://linux-sound.org/ every once in a while too. Hope that helps!
