You always have such interesting "cover photos" in these entries of yours. :)

I can't wait for #8 and #10! #8, because I have always had an interest in anything from or centered on Scotland (the music, Nessie, the landscape, the accents, etc), and #10 because I'm wondering what they'll be doing to top the success of and the solid performances from The Dark Knight.

I liked watching the trailers for #3 because of the throwback to The Turn of the Screw and other Victorian-like gothic horror stories. I dislike the slasher and gore films; good ghost stories are more interesting, in my opinion, especially if I get brave enough to watch! :D I'm good with the level (ghost, alien, etc) of Signs, Close Encounters of the Third Kind and The Poltergeist (except for the sink scene) for now.

And, no, I didn't know you liked horror movies! What are your favourites?

Thanks! Ever since I joined comms like bluebraid and coeurdelapin I can't resist posting their beautiful banners! <3

I actually watch slasher films. xD But I don't really love them. I just watch them out of random sometimes. Though I am a Final Destination fan ... but I like the story and the concept. That is why I watch it. I just love horror movies, though some people may think this is biased ... but specifically I like Asian Horror movies though I am not against watching Western horror movies. I loved 'The Others.' I am not a big fan of Paranormal Activity though.

I am generally a movie watcher so I watch ghost, alien and even super hero movies too. xDD But I am very picky. It has to be very visually pretty or pleasing. I do not know how to describe it but yeah. xDDD

Favorites? Usually Asian. xDD

Tale of Two Sisters, Shutter, Coming Soon, The Ring, Feng Shui and a lot. I do love the Others though. I think it is my favorite Hollywood Horror movie that isn't a classic. I also like classic Hollywood horror movies.

I am rambling!

I don't think it's biased at all. Asian Horror is definitely a category all its own, just like French Extremity, Spanish, etc. There's different elements that make horror films from different countries unique. Man, you'd get along well with one of my friends here (on LJ and in real life), because she is a zombie, gore fanatic and is especially fond of 70s horror (George A. Romero films, for example) and has her favorite Asian Horror films. :D

*nods* I've seen Tale of Two Sisters come up quite a bit in various "top films" lists. And yeah, classic Hollywood horror films are among the greats.

That's okay - ramble away!

Ooh, what a charming book sculpture *O* <3 That reminds me of a really cute and inspiring news story I read recently x3 Have you heard of this?

The Library Phantom (more here :D )

Haha, there has definitely been a...trend, in the subject matter for movies and tv shows these days xDDD Hmm, out of this list, I think I am especially intrigued by Snow White and the Huntsmen, The Woman in Black, My Week with Marilyn, and The Raven. :D ...and why do I find Daniel Radcliffe so handsome in TWiB? o_o I've never been attracted to him before, but I have to say he really looks good there. xD

Ohgod! This is so adorable! I have heard of the Library Phantom before and I think he is just amazing. LOL I am glad he is still doing these. I do love his creativity. I want the cinema one.... ;A; So pretty!

Yes, it is a trend. But I think I am liking this trend more than the Vampire trend. I wanted to quit my movie-going ways because of the vampire craze that was plaguing my school.

Good to know I am not alone looking forward to those movies! <3 I am the same. I think he was adorable as a kid in the first movie but I never really had a crush on him. He is just HANDSOME in this movie. I think for a post-potter job, I think he did a good job choosing. I was worried he will disappear into obscurity after Harry Potter.
