Before I get into a deep, deep, delving of reasons as to why this has to happen, I'll just go ahead and say it. Basically, I'm going to cancel this round. However, I would appreciate if you didn't reveal who you were, since if I decide at any point I can continue or we should try again, you can choose to take the character you had before back up. Basically, it's a hiatus, to some extent.
Now.. reasons. Well. If you recall, we started with twenty participents, some of wich dropped out, some of which never submitted. That was alright, but it was a setback - but voting was much much worse. I've practically begged for two weeks for votes, which messed up time scales so challenges have to run for almost two weeks. Even now, on the last one, we've only got about six votes for ten icons, which really isn't... fair.
Also, which has nothing to do with your end, is the fact this is my GCSE final year. I know, a lot of you won't know what that is - but basically it's the end of highschool for me and I'm being bombarded with exam exam exam. There's another in Novemeber, there's a week of mocks in December, another one in January, March, April, May, the last lot in June... so basically, I'm being rushed round till next June, and I just don't have the energy or time to do this on a Sunday. I want to relax and everything, which having a lims doesn't help do. It eats away at the free time I can have, I suppose, and running round trying to get votes isn't helping, and putting my time into lims when no one else appears not to care is a real put down.
Now, there are those of you who vote and submit week in, week out, and have always done that, and I thank you for it. ♥ I know lives are busy and everything, and I'm not blaming anyone - but for me, when I'm trying hard to do this even with exams, I find it hard to do so. Again - I'm not blaming anyone.
I had fun here, and I don't want to spoil that by forcing myself on when I really, really, really don't have time or effort to continue onward.
So, enough of my personal life and that. So just to say again - hiatus for this lims. When will we be back? I.. don't know. If it's not before Christmas or soon after, I'm being bold and saying next June, my summer, for me. Yes, it's a while, but I want to give those who are still partaking and did so every week a chance to keep the identities they took up this time, as the least of my thanks. Last thing - you may post the icons you've submitted here around.
I know, some might say 'get a co mod!' but I'm very precise and like to keep to schedule - if I don't I usually do go insane and beg forgiveness for being late. Also there's the time differance, which would be problematic. I just think it's easier going on hiatus for the time being.
Thanks to everyone who took part in these three battles this time round! Kero/Suppi will miss you greatly!
