Project Post: #008 - Ideas
I felt like I needed to write down my main vid ideas somewhere. Why not where people can read them and tell me what they think?
1. On The Wing - Owl City
This is...basically a love letter to 2D animation with all the animated movies on my computer [24, mostly Disney]. Not much more I can say about it.
2. According To You - Orianthi
This actually has more behind it. See, I wanted to make a Disney crossover vid [these are so fun to do, I swear. Really gets the creative juices flowing] that showed the canon couple not getting along so well after their "happily ever after", and then the girl meets this other guy who thinks she's amazing and her boyfriend is nuts for not being crazy about her. Only, I apparently have vidding ADD and can't work on a video for a long time, and I would completely lose my focus if it was just one love triangle. So...I picked three.
Dimitri -> Anya/Miguel
Sinbad -> Marina/Aladdin
Garrett -> Kayley/Clopin
Half of this is the challenge of seeing if I can make it work. The other half is cause it's fun XD.
03. The Tale of the Wild Rose - Kylie Minogue and Nick Cave
Ah, this one. I can't say much about this one for fear of spoilers, but it involves The Swan Princess and alternate character interpretation...
04. Carnival of Rust - Poets of the Fall
This one is interesting. I really wanted to do something with Dracula from Van Helsing. I also really wanted to do something with Stardust. This got me thinking, and I decided to try to see if it was possible to cross over the two. The question is simple: What if Tristan wasn't the first one to find the star?
Any feedback on any of these would be well appreciated. Also the cut text has nothing to do with any of this. I just love that movie.
