Evolution of Wingless Hakuryuu
I've been working on Hakuryuu for the past few weeks and finally got the shape, despite wingless at the moment. So here's the progress of it. And please do ignore my retarded face.
So I started off with cutting a long strip, a oval-like shape and another long but sharp at one edged strip. Sew the sides and inverted it and sew all of the together and then I stuffed the stuffings in. One mistake I did was to put the stuffings without the wire. And after that I cursed like shit, just to put one wire into the body. Somehow, I managed to put it in and got something like this:
After that I started off with the legs. I first started with an oval shape like again for the upper thigh and stuffed in and then sew to the main body. Did two since it has a pair of legs (DUH!) and get something like this:
Made rectangle-like lower thigh, sew the sides and invert again and stuffed again and attached to the upper thigh:
Then I went to buy some beads for the eyes (by that time, it's Saturday) since I forgotten to buy it during hte last visit. Anyway, I followed the head part from a tutorial in DA which was provided by Riko~ Thank you so much! Though I followed, I forgotten that the size was different and had to shrunk the bottom part, which thankfully doesn't look weird. For the horns, I used wires to hold it up. So it's something like this:
And then I started off with the feet, same style and got this:
By this time ONLY I noticed the leg is in wrong direction but f**k it, I'm not gonna remove it to mend it orz. I poked my fingers like 48672934865095918415 times so I'm not gonna go through the trouble once more lol. And yes, the feet looks like dinosaur and i FORGOT to put wires for the legs. Yes. So now I cant put it on my shoulder but to carry it. Ah whatever LOL
