Well, I ran outta time to make my Halloween costume, so I have decided to go with a closet steampunk outfit. I blame Girl Genius.

You need those arm thingies. As well as goggles and a big wrench. Lots of brass!
Put some straps on that corset. Cogs sewn onto ribbon?

Oh, and black lace on the corset?

You'll need a Victorian up-do and maybe a hat as well. Check League of Extraordinary Gntlmn. There are copies in the house.

I'm going with the arm thingies fo sure. The back of this bodice laces with big brass gromits and cording. There's not really a way for me to add straps to it. The bodice originally has a funky almost peaked heart top. I don't know if I'll be able to find a hat, but there will be feathers and/or pearls in my hair if i can not.
