Battle Royale

 Oh man, why does everyone give Battle Royale 2 a hard time? Sure it's not as good as the first one, but it's not as bad as people say it is. I get a kick out of it, it had a lot of funny moments. I even liked a lot of the characters. I really liked Boy #2 Shugo Urabe
but then he died near the beginning and I was sad ):  He was so adorable.

I dont hate BR 2 as much as I used too, I stopped thinking of it as a new game and more of a continuation of Shuya's story. The character development was lacking. Even with the reuniting of the Sakurai Siblings, I didn't feel a shed of sadness for them. Characters didn't interest me, the only ones I cared about was Shuya and Shiori, The only interesting characters were Shiori and Shuya (imo) What made Br1 so special was the different characters, I just felt like I wanted so much more than I got :/

The book and manga definently kick the movie ass!

Yeah, I never really viewed BR 2 as a "serious" sequel to the first one. I hate a lot of the characters in it. I definitely expected a lot more out of the movie too. I really hated the main boy, Aoi. His weird angry faces bothered me so much >_> But yeah, in the end I was really only particularly interested in Shuya and Shiori.

The reuniting of the twins came out of nowhere and I was like "ooooookay *shrug*" I guess some of the characters I like were really based off looks. And that's really sad when there's so little character development you go "Yeah, he/she looks pretty cool so I guess I like them".

So I don't hate the movie, but I don't love it. It's kind of a medium.
