So here I am, supposed to be working on my uni assignments.. But the pull of the internet and various doll sites and wouldn't stop leaving me alone. T_T Argh!
So anyway, the point of this entry was supposed to be me angsting over wanting to own a female Dollmore Model Doll now.. They're so frickin' gorgeous! I can't really stand the Dollmore faceups, but I can really see the potential for some of the molds! It started out as me wanting to look at the Dollmore eyes for future dolls I have planned, but my eyes settled on the utterly gorgeous Limited Edition Mellow Cole.
I've really liked the Dollmore Model females ever since they were first released. Namely, the Ipsae Monahan, whom I've LOVED since I first laid eyes on her, and the Lisa Rubik. I have also never noticed that Dollmore had a Model Doll Limited Vampire Ball set of dolls.. I saw it today and the Vampire Ball: Ipsae Monahan blew me away COMPLETELY! That's a really lovely faceup~ This just really made me want her even more.. sigh
Then, the thought of changing Riley into a Model Doll occured to me. I mean, I still LOVE my Narae to bits, but I'm still a bit weirded by the size difference between her and Rei.. They're supposed to be siblings and she's only a few years younger than Rei, but she looks almost like a kid next to him, which isn't right.. She's supposed to be a more matured-looking supermodel-type character.. I think the Ipsae would make a lovely more matured-looking Riley though.. Plus the clothes they have on sale at Dollmore for the Model females are so much more suited to the type of clothes I want Riley to wear.. The range of clothes for Narae-sized dolls are rather limited..
But then, that got me wondering as to what I would do with Riley's current shell. I would hate to sell her, because Naraes are so utterly gorgeous and I wouldn't want to not be able to see her again.. Argh! Dilemma!! ;_;.. I'll be sleeping on this for a long while more, i think..
On another part of my doll angst, I recently came to acquire a Luts Lu-Wen head.. Yeah.. I have a character all set for him already, he just needs a face-up, wig(already decided on), eyes(which I ordered today..) and a body(which will not come for a LONG time T_T).. And I still have the Dreaming Moon head I have to collect from a friend over here.. Why am I getting so many dolls?? ARHHH!! I don't have enough money to buy them new clothes and all that jazz.. Makes me feel so bad for leaving them in the same clothes all the time.. *wibbles*
Damn dolls!!
Also, I'm still wanting to get those Sirius and Remus Mini-fees.. I definitely want them. No question about that. Haha! I'd better get my butt into working on more and more commissions then. *_*;
