Sailor Moon:

Here's a PGSM Moon hair set. This set was a commission for chelseacandy.

Here's Sailor Moon's first brooch from the anime. It easily attaches to your bow with a safety pin.

This is Sailor Moon's second brooch. It's made openable for great photo-ops. This is the second time I've made this one, so I've perfected my methods a bit.

This version of the R brooch is cast in resin for mass production and doesn't weigh a ton like its predecessor. It's all hand-painted with rhinestones to complete the look. Attaches to your bow with a brooch pin. This version is non-openable.

Sailor Moon's second wand is the first wand I've ever made. I've started refurbishing this prop with 3-D wings and gold detailing instead of yellow.

I haven't figured out how to make this one openable yet, but this is Sailor Moon's third brooch from the anime.

Here's my Super Sailor Moon costume, which has a lot of props to explain. The odango shields were cast in resin with a two-step process. The hair pearls are also resin and attach with clear combs. When my store was in full swing, these were my two most popular items. The tiara has a yellow resin moon and a brass band, padded with a strip of craft foam for comfort. The heart on the choker is also resin. The wand is the most difficult wand I've made to-date. This picture shows off its refurbished state with a brand new paint job. The brooches were cast in resin so they'd be identical in every way. I've also made them in red and the brooch was once available for mass production. They don't open and are much lighter than their larger predecessor.

Here's a picture of me and my husband, dastari. The crown is the ornate manga version which, due to a nasty accident, has been reduced to a shelf piece. My 6'2" staff from the artbooks was decapitated during a move. King Endymion's staff and medals were made of model magic. Both of these costumes have been retired...for many reasons. =___=;;;

Here's Chibi Moon's odango shields. Like Sailor Moon's, these are cast in resin with a two-step process and attach easily to your wig (or natural hair), thanks to bobby pins on the back. These were made for ren_i_am.

This is the crown that Princess Kakyuu wears in the anime (the manga version has pearls along the bottom edge). After studying many images, I discovered that the sticks aren't attached to the crown, but are more like chopsticks that you put in your hair! The sticks can easily be glued to a wig. The crown itself can also be glued to a wig, but I can also attach some combs if you want it to be removable. This was a prototype made for shadowcaitiff.

This is a pair of Princess Serenity/Small Lady hair pearls. 3 medium pearls glued to a silver comb. Pretty simple.

Sailor Chibi Chibi Moon's earrings were a cinch to make. These hearts used to be buttons that had their backs cut off. They were painted pink and attached to earring posts and while I offered these, they came with a third heart for the tiara.

If anything, this is what proves that at one point, I HAD NO LIFE! These are all the brooches I could cast in resin within a year's time. Round, heart, star (in three different versions!), Saturn and Starlights. These all went through a progression over time. Matte paint, metallic paint, glitter in the resin, in all the colors required for a full group. Craziness. Like all brooches, they attach with a pin on the back (except Starlights).

Sailor Uranus henshin wand. This was a commission for autumns_lioness.

Sailor Neptune henshin wand. This was a commission for hotaru_suzuki.

Sailor Pluto henshin wand. With this commission for shadoupandora, I finally have a complete set!!

Super Sailor Jupiter henshin wand. This was a commission for angel00tears.

This was Project Glitter! for Acen. I was assigned prop work, so I made all brooches (excluding Chibi Moon, Pluto, Mars, and Jupiter which were made by alkrea - she also added a personal touch to the heart on her heart brooch), hair ornaments (excluding Jupiter), stars (excluding larger crotch stars which were made by alkrea), earrings, Moon choker piece, and tiaras. Everything was made with glitter resin. We found the normal smaller star brooches to be a bit too small (worked great for our little Saturn, though!) so after making ALL OF THEM I had to make a mold for a brand new set! The new star brooches were made very last-minute. On the up side, the older brooch size was PERFECT for the crotch star, so ladyutena whipped them up at the very last possible moment since she had multiple molds. Making props for a full eternal group was very stressful and very labor-intensive.
Cast: Moon alkrea; Mercury xdistantmemory (not pictured - she was in the masquerade!); Mars usagi_sern; Jupiter serenamina; Venus ainobethie ME!; Chibi Moon ren_i_am; Chibi Usa, usagi_sern's neice; Uranus xxyotanxx; Neptune aurora_cosplay; Pluto jessjupiter_x3; Saturn, serenamina's little sister; Chibi Chibi, ainobethie's daughter (not pictured, but DANG was she cute!).

Sailor Moon hair pearls from the musicals. I'd wanted to make these for mass production and biscuitchan finally gave me a reason to make some with a commission assignment. :D Made to-scale for your odango atama, cast in resin for mass production and painted high gloss chrome silver for that reflective mirror look. They're a bit on the heavy side so I don't recommend dancing with these unless you have a very secure way to attach it to a headband. Otherwise, I normally mount them on a pair of clear combs for regular hall cosplay.

Sailor Starlight headphones. These were made out of two-layer resin, tons of wire, and rhinestones. It was tons of fun to make these, even with all the difficulties I had with the complicated molding and casting process. These were a commission for redrice009.

Sailor Venus' belt from the manga/live action series. Made of resin gems, craft foam and jewelry supplies. This was a commission for sailortelevator.

Components for a Sailor Pluto Time Staff. Giant resin orb? Yes, please! Made of resin, really really really thick wire, model magic, wooden balls, PVC parts...and craft foam! :D This was a commission for nekooflove.

Other Media:

This is the flute that Princess Sara plays from InuYasha. This is pretty much just a dowel rod with some holes drilled into it. It does not play. This was made for shadowcaitiff.

I see you! These are resin eyeballs made for a Jenova cosplay for truelolita.

The model here, is dastari, my husband and the one responsible for getting me into this expensive hobby!!
This character is Schwarz Bruder from G Gundam. I made this entire costume myself (except for the pants, which were store-bought, and the only thing I did to the boots was paint them). The shoulder spikes were made of craft foam and sculpey. The shuriken were made of craft foam. The pointy crown thingie was made of craft foam, an acrylic gem, and white fur. The belt clasp cover was made of craft foam, elastic and tiny resin circles. The sword (a very last-minute addition to the costume) was made out of 3 dowel rods, hunter green vinyl, white duck tape, craft foam, and white cording. Very ghetto, but very convincing. Now if only I could have made the coat wider in the shoulders!!

This is a very dorky me as Kurumi (from Steel Angel Kurumi). This entire costume from head to toe was made by me. Prop-wise, the only thing I think I can mention are the bolts made for the costume. There are two on the dress and two per glove. I put two larger ones on each shoe. These were the very first thing I ever cast in resin. OLD SCHOOL!! The shoes were black cheapo crocks from Walmart (the off brand!) and I covered them in blue and gray vinyl to achieve the look.

Well, I hope you enjoyed the show!
