Filling a shift at the lodge. 0.5 hours down, 7.5 to go, so uh, yay?
Taking the time to sort through my haul from the craft con. It's been sitting in my bags for the past week so I figured it was time to get down to business. And also add up the receipts...*gulps* And also post some links for future reference. Feel free to take a look = )
So apparently it's been 20 years, and it's the first time I heard of this convention. Looking up craft stuff in Toronto never gave me any links to this con. Anyways, I meant to go on Friday but didn't, and apparently the con was completely packed on Friday anyways, so I'm glad I didn't go. Went on both Saturday and Sunday, after sleeping for an hour after a midnight-8 am shift on both days. Anything for crafts!!!
It was in the Metro Convention Centre, and I went alone on both days. Later I found out that Etta would've come with me had she known sooner (I had nooo idea she was interested - we'll go together in April, hee. *drags another girl with me - you know who you are*). But having said that, I didn't mind going alone. It would've been nice to have some one with me one of the days but I definitely would've wanted one day alone, too.
I kind of rushed at the end of the first day, but managed to get to all the booths. Discovered a few wayward ones I missed on Sunday, lol. I spent...over $100...*sigh* Most of it on fabric for quilting, lol. I don't even sew!!! I blame Sunhawk, heehee. I only bought a bit of yarn, cuz the yarn there was either too expensive or stuff I've seen before. Also bought some stamping stuff, but not much, again because of money. I got to pet an alpaca!!! Heehee, so cute.
