Packages!!!

May 09, 2008 10:47

So I finally got all my packages, and right in the nick of time too. Got my last expected package right now. The bad news for that is that I have to pack it somehow, lol. I think I was underestimating how many boxes of crafts I have. I kept thinking "I'll be able to squish two boxes into one" for a lot of them, but I didn't take my packages into ( Read more... )

Hey! I got the scarf on Wednesday, and have been meant to post a thank you note or something but completely forgot about it. ^^;;; Thanks a lot though. It's really pretty and fluffy. :)

Hope you have good grades. *cross fingers* And enjoy your summer. You're going to graduate anytime soon?

Yay!!! I'm so glad it made it to you = )

No worries on the thank you note or anything. You sent me a gift for Christmas - and on time, too - and I never truly thanked you properly for that either. I can't remember if I took a piccie of your scarf before I sent it, though. I think I didn't... Would it be possible to ask you for a favour in that regard?

The grades that are up so far are surprisingly okay. I could've done better on my thesis, hands down, no question, but I'm satisfied. I'm waiting on one more mark, and unfortunately it's a mark I need to graduate, but I don't think I would've failed. I'm trying not to worry about it.

What are you up to this summer?

I'll take some pics of the scarf and send them to you once I manage to find my sister's camera from god-knows-where. ^^;;

So, you're basically done with school now. Good for you. :) Me, I'm now taking my last 2 classes (English and Biochem II) and hopefully will graduate by the end of August. *cross fingers*

Yay!!! Thanks = )

Final mark is up. Yay!!! Yeah, I'm convocating in June, but I have a friend who's also taking courses this summer, so he'll be convocating in November. I'm sure you'll pass with flying colours - no worries!!! = )

I read that your plans for next year are still up in the air. I hope whatever you decide works out. It doesn't seem like that long ago that you first started school. Time has really flown!

I'm waiting to hear on something that I realize now I haven't really talked about at all on LJ. When I get any sort of final confirmation or rejection or a change of heart, I'll definitely let everyone know. For now, there are too many variables so I haven't posted about it yet.

Does it really seem so short ago? Lol, I guess since I've been wanting out for the last year, it seems like it's been longer. I hope that this summer, I'll have time to catch up with everyone again. I can't tell you how much I've missed you guys.

I haven't recieved anything yet but I'll be on the look out for it, you can be sure. ^_~

I know when I moved out of the dorms, I was half happy half depressed because a) I was moving out in December and my roommate would probably be stuck with someone new (poor roomie) b) I had no idea what to do next, other than go back to my job and rejoice that I could see them more and get another job besides it. >.< And C) Once school is over you finally realize you have a bit more time on your hands and you have to find ways to fill the void. Or in my case the crazy new thing called family-life again, where the family drama keeps on coming for a while that you find ways to sneak away or get kidnapped from your own home. Nya hahaha! My friend Shawna is a master planner of letting me get "kidnapped" when enough is enough. She's so crafty at planning my escape.

Hopefully everything will go smoothly and you'll just take a great big breath and go, "Hello world. I am free to enjoy the summer again!" ^___^

They told me it'd be a week or two to get to you *shakes fist at Canada Post* so no worries. I mailed it on...Tuesday.

Lol, I have no doubt that I'll be able to "fill the void" regarding my new-found time. I'm not taking classes this summer and I don't yet have a job, but I always cram stuff into my schedule, so it's no biggie. Heehee, your family drama sounds so amusing sometimes. I'm guessing it's not quite the same when you're living it, though. How have you been lately, anyhow? Busy busy at work? Oh!!! My friend and I bought some quilting fabrics. I should take a piccie and show you.

Lol, I wish it was that simple. See my new To-Do list. *points to next post*

I got the package today and I'm in awe of your awesomeness (is that a word?) but I love the scarf it's so soft, warm, and pretty. So very very pretty and mind boggling! How did you make the colors zig-zag like that? It's so cool and my mom was so jealous of it's prettiness. I loves it ( ... )

Wow, that was quick. I guess I'm just used to sending packages around Christmas season and that always takes forever, lol. The colour changing is in the yarn itself, I didn't do anything special, but I played around with the width a tiny bit to see how the colours would cluster. It worked itself out pretty easily. I have to admit I now love that yarn and wish I had bought more. Maybe in 2 years' time after I get rid of some of the stuff I have at home, lol. I'm extra happy you love it ( ... )
