Okay, as promised in general and to myself, I'm parting with some of my yarn. I really should part with more but we'll see. If you think this is a lot of yarn, well, remember this isn't all of it, heh
( Read more... )
If you have smaller bits (like enough to actually crochet with but less than these like 50g amounts I guess) of anything between like DK and chunky kicking around that you want liberated, I could probably take it off your hands for my amigurumi habit. I like ends. I can pay you or pay shipping or whatever. Let me know.
I absolutely do, I just have to weigh them and actually list them (hence the "more to be added" lol). I have to admit, I was thinking of you when I thought of the leftover balls = )
Heehee, yay!!! I got an amigurumi book back in September but this last year at university was really crazy busy so I haven't even looked at it. But no worries, I -still- have more yarn to knit with.
This isn't actually all that much, it just seems like a heck of a lot because I have like 1 ball of so many different things. But it still takes up a lot of space, lol.
I'M SITTING THERE LOOKING UP AT HIM 9 OR 10 YEARS OLD IN SOME OF THOSE PICTURES OH MY GOD THERE'S JOHN AND THEN WE HAD A LOT OF REAL GOOD TIMES OUT IN THE WOODS AND LOOKING FOR STUFF AND ALL.
Oh, my god. Where’s my straw. Bypass. Bypass. (Later I read on a colonoscopy message board some apt descriptions of the TriLyte solution: “thick consistency with salty aftertaste,” “like Alka Seltzer but without the fizz,” “oily dishwater liquid,” and my favorite and perhaps the most accurate: “a jug of elephant semen.
It happens because when you buy stuff for a project you always buy like 1 more ball than you think you need. Sometimes it works out, sometimes you have lots left over and no receipt. *sigh*
She has to stick her hand out in the cold weather to collect money. (RustyFord) and upstate LOSES because they don't have equal representation (CometBaby) handy (RustyFord) now imagine NY state on a much much larger scale (RustyFord) heh (rond) most new ski gloves are made like that (Justkem) Aren't they, though.
Do you think you can take some pics of the yarn? Only specific ones though. I'm interested in 3x 100g Bernat Softee Chunky faded denim, 3x 100g Bernat Softee Chunky medium sea green, 5x 100g Bernat Softee Chunky deep mauve, 6x 100g Patons Canadiana dark juniper, 2x 100g Patons Canadiana periwinkle 2x 50g Phentex Merit misty blue ($1.50 together) 2x 50g Phentex Merit burgundy ($1.50 together) and 2x 50g Lewiscraft Creation blue ($1.50 together) I copied the ones I like directly since I steal all of them if I could and or afford to. ^___^
I absolutely can take pics of those. In fact, I was going to today but by the time I got home the sky's already dark and taking yarn pics in artificial light (my lights are yellow-orange, not white) wouldn't work. I also discovered my camera is not that good at taking true-to-life colours. So for the ones you asked for, the best bet is actually to look online.
I'll find you the sites so I can tell you if the colours are true or not. Just gimme a sec, lol. Oh, cept the Phentex, but really it's just a regular worsted weight yarn. I'll look for the colour.
I had to search for the post. I knew I saw it and then I must have gotten distracted or something and I lost it and I was like OMGs! Where did it go?! But I found you, YAY!
Oooh, I know exactly what you mean with the lighting. Any kind of light that isn't a cool white light will make colors be something that they're not. Hence the reason why I love photoshop and miss it so when I take pics. Damn you student loans! So I'll chase my sorrows away with pretty yarn. Meow! *snugs*
