On LJ and GW

Jul 27, 2008 00:37

You know it's bad when I'm reading LJs (finally) and all I can think of is, "why am I not knitting something??? must start something..." (And actually, I would, for one of my 101 goals, cept I might be going to Spinrite's tent sale next month where they'll have Patons Grace on massive sale, and that's the yarn the pattern asks for, not that I care ( Read more... )

I miss you a lot, too. To be honest, I don't know how people who go to school manage to keep up with LJ and fandom. I don't think I could do that. LJ and fandom are like part time jobs. It takes so much time and effort to keep up!

I'll still be here when you're ready to come back completely. *huggles*

*huggles* I hope it'll be soon, but I'm also legitimately busy with other stuff (details of which will make it into another post, hopefully). I've finished my Bachelors degree, but I'm not done school. *sigh*

Lol, I don't know how ppl with full time jobs and families to take care of manage to keep up with fandom either. Some people are amazing = )

How are you? I really miss reading your LJ, almost every post was some little joy. I wish I were watching an anime along with you. I'll catch up on Doctor Who (and Torchwood) soon, I promise.

Other than having strained my lower back yesterday, I'm doing really well, thanks! *must remember not to pick up heavy things*

I stopped watching Doctor Who, but I'm still a big fan of Torchwood. I'll always be a Captain Jack fangirl. ^_____^

Picking up heavy things? Meep. At home?

My friend isn't happy with Doctor Who right now either. I haven't started Torchwood but I will. I missed getting John Barrowman's autograph a few weeks ago and I'm sooooo sad. I absolutely love Captain Jack; being played by JB just makes it doubly awesome = )

You need to get properly addicted to Ravelry. It's crack. :D

Lol, don't get me started on the knitting community. I've been eyeing Blogspot for like over a year, but the bottom line is I have no time.

Lol, I -am- on Ravelry but I'm not really on. I'm a little confused as to how to keep up with it, I guess. Like, LJ has the Friends page, so that's easy. How do I do it on Ravelry? (Also, what's your Ravelry name? I must Friend you!!!)

I'm gathering my leftover balls, I really really am. *adds to your amigurumi* But RL's getting in my way again this week. *kicks it* Are you still at Sylvan?

Oh, I already friended you. And was a sad panda to see that you really didn't use it. I don't really use the friends feature myself, although I think you can get alerts when people do stuff, but I am a fan of the pattern searcher and the groups. I think having a queue on there also helps motivate me to do projects somewhat.

It's okay about the yarn, I am being lazy about sewing some dolls and also starting to think in terms of xmas right now, anyway. One of my friends is getting an afghan, haha. No, I finished at sylvan at the beginning of july because they decided they didn't have hours for me over the summer and dealt those out by seniority. I am working nights at Mall-Wart right now and looking for something less shit. How about you?

Gasp, you did? *runs onto Ravelry* Poke me more often to go onto Ravelry and I'll eventually ease into it. I don't actually know anyone (other than you and I think 2 other ppl...?) so I wouldn't really be using the Friends feature either ( ... )
