June's Yarn Sale List
This is a repeat of my list from a year ago. It's been "updated" but most of it is still the same. One day this will be up on Ravelry, I swear. If you'd like to see a photo of anything specific let me know and I'll do it right away.

Please leave a comment (with your email plz!!!) if you're interested, or contact me via ( Read more... )

I'd like all of your Patons Grace in Marine (I can't find the colourway on the website so I'm guessing it's just blue or maybe greenish blue, solid I hope). I'd like to take your large amounts of Divine off your hands too but I can't come up with a project for bulky, fuzzy yarn, unfortunately. :/ I considered an afghan but I think it would shed, if there was even enough yarn for a decent one in one colour.

You have other nice stuff but I don't do a whole lot of small projects so there's not enough yarn. :)

The Marine is a navy blue. I know I'll use it eventually (I have more the Marine I haven't listed), but it's the champagne I keep staring at going, what am I gonna do with you?? I've used some of the Divine for the lacy cardigan, we'll see how it turns out. What have you been working on lately?

Yeah, I know. *sigh* One day I'll just afghan it all. Right.

Wow, that's like a super-long version of a cardigan I did that ends above the knees, except mine has no pretty stitch pattern. I like the diamonds.

If you want to stash-bust, a lot of this stuff would make a nice-looking scrapghan. I would totally do one in afghan stitch if I was you; there's an afghan by stitchdiva in my queue (just for the picture and reminder, it's a paid pattern I don't need) that shows how pretty those can be. Afghan stitch blends colours well.

Champagne wasn't on the site either, I don't think; I guess it's a beige-y colour? That'd be good for a neutral base colour on some garment with something really bright for accent. Some colour you wouldn't use on a whole item but really like anyway. Neutrals are also good if you're working in double thickness with two colours, to temper the other one. It'd probably look pretty fantastic with your Marine. ;)

Payment? You want me to mail you a cheque, or transfer to your account (super easy if you use RBC like I do), or what?

I followed the pattern fairly exactly but it turned out longer than I thought. (Yes, I realize this is what happens when I don't swatch.) I'll probably make a second one that's shorter and in another colour.

I've been meaning to make a scrapghan for ages, but I just never get around to it. Too many other things I'm more interested in doing. Usually I end up taking scrap yarns and scarf-ing them for charity because I can scarf without thinking/looking. I'll take a look at your Rav queue too.

Yeah, the champagne and marine (and lilac I think) are discontinued colours. I made a small lace sarong with a ball of the champagne, I'll take a picture of it eventually, heh.

I have a TD account; is cheque okay for you? Email me your postal code and I'll try to estimate shipping.

I'd like all of the purple and blue please, just to horde them prettily and of course, pressed snuggly against one another, somewhere in my room.

(or so I'd wish to anyway....)

^_^;;
