I had to redo this last night because I'm sick of being unsatisfied with the stuff I've been making for this. *grunt* Originally, the big heart was too tall, the small heart too small and the model magic too thin. I ripped everything off and reshaped the wire pieces and reapplied it. And this time I remembered to make the extra details on the lower side for the side gems. >__> It's going to crack a little bit and since it's not quite dry yet, I'm not sure how bad it's going to be and how much caulk I'll need to fill it all in. I think it's going to be a lot, though. *wince*

I know it looks like I haven't made much progress and really...that's half true. I haven't been working on this as much as I've been needing to. Though, now all that's left is painting and adding gems. I had to smother this think in mod podge to seal all the pores and that took a while. At the moment, the progress on that particular detail isn't visible. Also, last night I noticed that I didn't fill in the cracks of the wood with wood putty. I will be needing to do that as well before painting. That doesn't take long, though.
