I heard your voice calling my name. I glance at my back and I saw you, running to my seat. Your hair is messed but you still look pretty with it. Your chubby cheeks were red, you're in hurry, I guess.
"Sorry I'm late!"
You stop right in front of me saying sorry while inhale and exhale heavily. Damn..you still sparkling even with that state.
"It's okay. Saa..ikou?"
I smiled. It's just the same smile that I've faked. The incomplete smile that I wear since the day that my heart fall hard for you. Have you ever imagine how it feels to be in love with someone that close to you yet you can't even have the person?
I watch you from a far. You were sitting on the park bench while staring at the sky. I smiled and fasten my feet to you. My mouth utter you name but you seems too occupied with your view and so, I call your name a bit louder and it works. You glance at my direction and smile.
I can feel my face getting hot. And without any mirror I know my face had turned to boiled crab.
"Sorry I'm late!"
I stop right in front of you. I lowered my face and trying to normalize my breath before I die because of your smile. Thank god it didn't took too long to gain my breath.
"It's okay. Saa...ikou?"
You smile once again yet this time, something is wrong with it. Your smile...is not the one that I know. The one that you wear now looks....incomplete.
You nodded your head and we walked to our destination. You talked everything that happen to you last night include your dream. I laughed on it as you start to re-act yourself after you woke up from your dream.
"Hey! stop laughing! It's not a funny at all! "
You hit my arm and pout you lips. Please don't do that, Ryosuke...It looks like you're calling me eat you!
"Gomen..gomen.."
I tried to stop my laughter and apologize to you. My hand unconsciously softly pinch your chubby cheek.
"Ittai!"
You whine in pain and our eyes stuck to each other. I stares to you brown orbs. The eyes that I wish it only look at me.
I was talking about my dream last night. It's not funny to have a dream where you're force to eat something that you don't like! More over! It was you in my dream, forcing me to eat all that tomatoes!!
"Hey! sotp laughing! it's not funny at all!"
My hand unconsciously slap your arm.
"Gomen..gomen.."
You apologize to me yet your hand suddenly pinched my cheek.
"Ittai!"
I mouthed. You're pinching my cheek once again. I tried to shove your hand away but my eyes caught your gaze. I can feel my heart beat increase. Ne...do you know that this eyes only looking at you?
I don't even know how long it lasted. It was me who stop that stare and gazing moment. I forced myself to do it. You might feel weird if my true feelings towards you is exposed.
"It's here already"
I talked. The train had stop at our destination. The door then opened. You shrugged your head a bit and smile awkwardly to me before nodding your head and went out the train.
I watch you walk and tailed behind you. It's always like this. I'm only capable to watch you from your back and be your friend.
"It's here already"
Your voice snapped me back to my reality. The sound of the train door being opened were heard. I close my eyes and shrugged my thought out from my mind. My love for you is always awkward since my hands can't never reach yours. It's stupid and I knew it.
I smile awkwardly and walked out from the train. It was you that let me to walk first.
Have you ever thought to walk beside me and hold my hands?

"Thanks for today..and bye.."
The same words at the end of our day. We stay silent for awhile as I keep my eyes staring at you. It was a bit cold that night. The chilly wind brush off your hair. Even it was dark I can still saw the pinkish color of your cheek. Why do you have to be that cute even when you're in cold??
It took me a few moment to compose myself and bit you goodbye. I didn't move from my spot until I saw you enter your house and few seconds later the light in your room is turned on.
The window then opened and it was you. You chuckled and waved your hands towards me signaled me to go home. I nodded my head and walked home.
Damn that moonlight. Why do you look so perfect with just that little light? I lowered my head so that you can't see me redden face. It's embarrassing!
"..bye..."
It was short but it's enough for me to sleep peacefully tonight. I smile shyly and walk into my house. As soon as I close the front door, my feet were moving faster to the up stair, my room. I run past my sister and doesn't really pay attention to her words.
I run to to window and open it, hoping that you still stand there and I'm so lucky that you did! You're still standing there, smiling and looking at me.
If only it wasn't cold outside there, I really wish you'll stay there. But I need to stop my selfish thought. I waved my hand and mouthing you to go home or you might get sick.
I watch your back slowly disappear from my sight and I sighed.
I stares out side the window. The bus was moving and there's only a few people tonight. Taking out my headphone, I cover my ears with with and listen to your voice. I silently record it when we're practicing. The sound of your voice calmed my mind and my heart.
Tonight is just the same as yesterday. But I do wish tonight you'll be mine.
I smile and touch the photo that laying on my desk. It's a photo of you that I secretly took. Your small eyes when you're laughing is the last thing that I'll stares before I fall asleep.
I lay on my bed and release a sighs. My eyes keeps on the photo of you.
"May be being friend isn't really that bad...I guess...."
