Welcoma back. I envy you a little. I've never been to Savanah but have always wanted to go. My sister thought of moving there, but when she and my mom visited to test it out, they both thought it was my city, not hers. I'm glad that you had such a wonderful time.

BTW, Daniel gave the okay on taking Emmit when you leave. I still have to talk to the office, but I don't think there will be a huge problem.

Am I going to see you before you leave? I really hope I can.

I second this! I would love to see you before you go on your trip. I've been bad this summer about keeping in touch with friends and it would be a shame to let the chance slip by now.

I haven't been the best at keeping in contact either so don't feel bad! I was wondering maybe Monday or Wednesday we can get together as a group! (Wednesday preferred) We can get together for dinner and/or Karaoke! If you can make it at some point, that would be great! I want to see you! It's been so long! Just get back to me and I will try to plan around schedules!

Wednesday would be fine and so is Monday for that matter. I get off work at 4:30, so any time after that is good. I look forward to it!

The familiar world of moving anxiety. sociokath September 19 2006, 00:19:13 UTC
Ah, Laura. I know all too well the anxieties and fears of going someplace new. Sometimes it hits before, and when you get there it feels wonderful, other times it doesn't hit you until you get there, but there's always some period like that. It's hard, but you just have to get through it and it's always rewarding. The best thing to do is just breathe and remember how much you are loved. If that doesn't work, distraction is the next best thing- the problem works itself out, so if you can keep your mind busy, it'll be over without you even realizing it.

It us scary and I am sure you know better than anyone. You have moved so much in the past few years.

I have to admit since having that breakdown, I feel a lot more secure. I have no idea if it will come up again but it helped to let it all out. releasing is a good thing.

Hopefully, I will be so busy while I am settling in that I won't have time to think...or that's what I am relying on. I hope it doesn't go the reverse where I feel overwhelmed to the point of burning out. I agree that distraction is the only way I think when there is needless worry involved because there is no way of knowing!
Thank you! This comment cheered me up! I hope the girl pulls through with your car purchase! Good luck!

I miss Savannah! It's on my top ten lists of places I have to take my daughter when she's old enough for road trips.

Savannah is awesome! I think your daughter will get a lot out of savannah when the visiting time comes! It's always a good thing to brainwash your child in the aestetics! It is quite pretty there!
