He wasn’t really sure what he was expecting to find when he got to the kaijuu’s home. He knew very well that despite of all of Yue’s assurances they weren’t just ‘fine’ in that big Hong Kong house. His little sister was completely unorganized, even though she was good for cleaning, and clumsy. That Chinese brat could cook, but how well could he manage when he had to cook for them both and the guardians; he probably lived in the kitchen by now. Keroberos caused more disasters when actually trying to help, than when he was being troublesome. And Yue, oh, he was the worst of them. He could both clean and cook very well, but he rather ‘chose’ not to; he had to agree with the plushie, the moon guardian was quite lazy.
Let’s not forget how big that house actually was. Even if they could work together well enough to keep up a house, they certainly could not keep up a mansion. Why did that brat had to have such a big house, anyway? His sisters had moved out, and even his mother had moved to give the ‘newly weds’ some space. Didn’t anyone understand they were still too young?
But certainly he was not expecting to find the house as he did. As soon as he entered the main gate, and walked to the fountain in the front, he was greeted by a heavy splash of water. He’d fallen on his behind, staring up at the water sprite who scowled visibly, “damn, I lost my edge!” Touya wasn’t really sure what the hell she was saying until it caught up to him, quite literally. Behind the Watery, several sprites flew quite rapidly at them. The Cloud or the Rain, well, it had to be one of the two, and the Snow stopped as abruptly as Watery, all above Touya.
Certainly there wasn’t something so fun in him being wet head to toe, but they seemed to be amused by it anyways. Of course, he didn’t know why they were running, or from whom. It didn’t take long before their persecutor turned up to where they were. “Bloody cards, once I get my hands on you…” Yue stopped mid-sentence when he saw the cards and who they were hovering over. Quickly enough, they all hid behind Touya’s back, knowing they could be safe from their Moon Guardian’s anger with the Mistress’ brother. Yue quickly tried to fix his hair and clothes to look more presentable as he approached, though none of it mattered to Touya. He was shocked well enough by the Guardian’s attire, that he didn’t really notice his disheveled hair, or that he was also drenched from head to toe.
“Toya, you didn’t tell us you where coming, if I had known…”
“Well yes,” Touya said after he came out of his shock, getting some idea as to what had happened, “I really should have called.” He stared at Yue, again, and kept on staring. Yue blushed under the strong gaze and averted his eyes. And before Touya got any weird ideas in his head he clarified, “I’m not wearing this on my own volition, and yes, it’s those three and Windy’s fault. I don’t doubt Kerobero’s participation in this as well. Now if you’d excuse me, I have some cards to discipline.”
“Sure, go ahead,” Touya nodded, scrambling out of the way for Yue to continue in his murdering path. “Traitor!” hissed the Snow as they flew away as fast as possible, the Moon Guardian hot on their tails. Standing up, he walked over to the porch were he saw Keroberos sitting, eating pudding and laughing as he saw the persecution. “Why is Yue wearing a dress?” he questioned, not losing sight of the others. Kero grinned, his jaw full of pudding, “because it’s fun.” Sure enough, the blue dress seemed to have come out of cosplay convention rather than his sister’s dresser. “It’s Alice’s dress,” the sun guardian added, as if it magically explained everything, “we got for free in the mail a few days ago. That’s what he gets for sleeping in and not aiding with the house.” Touya didn’t even want to know why they would take a free dress, anyway. A shrug went down his spine as he thought that, and decided better not think about that anymore.
“And my sister?”
“Destroying the kitchen as we speak, she wouldn’t let the kid cook” Kero laughed out loud as he saw Yue find Windy, hidden in one of the tallest trees surrounding the estate.
He sighed annoyed, “The brat?”
“Cleaning up after her, but he is so stupid, he wants to do it while she cooks, rather than waiting for her to tire down. We are safe outside.”
“Do I even need to ask why?” Touya sat down wearily next to the lion, dropping his wet suitcase on the stairs.
“Believe me, you are better off not knowing. The house should be livable in a few hours,” Keroberos turned to look at him, “Welcome to the jungle, nii-chan.” Unexpectedly, he nuzzled his head against Touya’s arm, “we missed you.”
