Lost Memories...
I feel like in the end, I don't know what I'm watching about anymore. ;;; But there are some thought I would like to write it down so.
First of all, this anime was kinda hard for me to get into my brain. It's like Kekkaishi, in which I'm very interested in the concept and all but I just couldn't register the story/plot line properly and will keep on forgetting them. ;;; But I guess I'm glad I finally finished it.
Because the story doesn't seem to register properly, I couldn't link well with the characters too. To the point I don't feel much when there are character deaths and stuff. ;; I was kinda prepared for some character deaths though so... I guess I'll talk about the characters one by one.
1) Akiyuki - The main character. So, all in all, I'm just okay with him I guess. He doesn't annoy me; and I don't think he's the coolest character either... and his ending just doesn't sit that well with me. ;; Don't you think for someone who has went through that much wouldn't turn into stone that easily anymore...? And what's with giving his name to Hiruken will make him lose himself again? I guess to Xam'd, having a name is really important... Well, he woke up anyway so all's well?
2) Haru - ...ahahahahaha I don't know what to say of her. To say she's strong; yet she cries a lot too. To say she's determined; she falters a lot too. ;;; In the end, I'm just okay with her too.
3) Midori - Where and why does siblings think that they're less loved by their mother/parents and that the older sibling gets more love? ;;; This also happened with Kujireika but haa. My brother thinks of this too. Or maybe cause I'm the older sibling that I wouldn't be able to understand this? ;; I'm glad all's well with her too. It would be too sad to see her go too.
4) Furuichi - ...nande Tachibana Shinnosuke desu ka... *sobs* Okay so it wasn't that bad. It's just after listening to the wonderful Bakapel, I mean Capel, having to listen to Black!Cape-I mean, emo!Furuichi is a bit... Ahaha. *shot* A-anyway, all I can say is poor guy I guess. But, I sorta like how he ends his own life. Though probably, his sane mind wasn't there anymore...
5) Nakiami, Kujireika - Nakiami to me is almost like Haru. ;; But I like her better than Haru. I don't know if I expected or not of her ending though. ;;; Kujireika, the sister, on the other hand... is voiced by Paku Romi. *shot* She's really cool in my opinion, just... pretty much mis-lead. ;; And just when I thought she lost her mind/died, she came back sane and well. I-I guess all's well with that. ;; Since she have a village to lead...
6) Chuusa (suddenly forgot his name) - ...seriously, I think he's bi. *shot* *coughs* Cause that part with Azami... if it's not for Sukakki, I would have thought he might be gay instead. Ahahahaha. *shot again* Also, I can't blame Haru for thinking he wants to sleep with her cause honestly speaking, his actions was a bit too suspicious. ;;; Well, unexpectedly, he actually survived. Though still in coma...
7) Ishu, Raigyo - *coughs* I thought it would be nice if this two got together, just I didn't expect that I would really get a scene. *_* (Never mind it's during the last moments of Raigyo's life...). Raigyo, to me, is the coolest character in the whole series (until the ending. XD). And he's voiced by Fujiwara Keiji too, to boot! Unfortunately he's in the list of "RIP Characters". ;; There are some parts of his stories that I'm a bit confused about, but maa ii ka. It's even more sadder that when Ishu's blowing up Hiruken's chamber, she only talked about Rado her ex-fiance... but she cried for Raigyo, and I guess that's enough for him. *pats pats both of them*
8) Yango - He's a bit too Nakiami-omoi, but I like him. <3 And when he grows up, he's voiced by Irino Miyu! (Whom actually sounded really cool!) XD He's the second coolest character in this series, in my opinion. Especially the 9 years later him... *coughs coughs*
9) Emperor Hiruken - ...I don't get this enemy. ;; But I don't particularly hate him. He just couldn't help to be like this I guess. I wonder what happened to him after he got Akiyuki's name...
10) Azami - Special mention. XD; I like bishounens like this. *shot* I like his voice too. More like, I like all those white haired boys and girls of the Ruikon... They must of hit my spot for hair fetish... *coughs* Except for Shiroza though, he's a bit annoying.
I guess that's all for now. There are a lot more characters but these are the ones I want to cover. The ending is 9 years later so you get to see the kids all grown up and stuff. Hinokimaru for some reason turns out to look a lot like Raigyo. XD; I want to see how pretty Kobako turns out to be too but they only show a silhouette of her. Cis.
The ending was a happy one, and it does feel like an ending to me. Even if there are questions that I feel are left unanswered. But I guess that's okay. I don't really get what was going on anyway. ;; So yes, one anime series down, a lot more to go. Wii.
